Hello,

I am very new to all this, just got tank and fish 2 days ago and some have died. Think the tank is too hot. Does anyone know what it should be?

Hello and welcome to the forum. :hi:

I don't think your temperature is the problem. As smithrc stated, your tank isn't cycled. The link he refered you to is hard to follow. Try the one at the bottom in my signature "Please Do a Fisless Cycle". I think you will understand it better. That will only work though if you lose allyour fish. For now, get some test kits (if you don't already have them) so you can check your ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and pH. Do daily water changes to keep the ammonia and nitrite (both deadly toxic to fish) under a maximum of 1 and preferably under .5. You really want them at 0 but it will take a while for you to get them there. Good luck.
