Another M or F Question

I have a white colored molly and it looks more like a betta than a molly. I've seen the pictures posted on this site showing the difference between the two sexes but my molly doesnt resemble either one. Is this like a different kind of molly that looks like a betta or is he just odd? I could use some help finding out the sex of my fish. I wish i could post a pic but i dont have a digital cam.
