1st pic is a female Pseudotropheus Saulosi complete with babies in her mouth (or at least eggs)

Can you get another pic of the second one showing the mouth more clearly? If it has an overhanging nose it could be a Labeotropheus. If not it's probably Labidochromis.Hongi or Cynotilapia.Afra but could do with another pic. :good:

Thanks very much for your help, would definately say it is a Tropheops gracilior after looking on the link you posted.
But think its bad news with the female she dont seem to be holding eggs anymore her mouth has gone rigth down this morning.

Are you sure you don't have babies hiding in the rocks somewhere? After 1 spawn - i thought all the babies must have been eaten as they dissappeared - 5 weeks later i found 3 wrigglers hiding in some Ocean rock!

I dont think so because she only had the eggs last sunday. I dont know how long it takes for them to hatch but thought it was around 3 weeks before we would of seen anything from her

Yep - she's swallowed them by the sound of it then - it happens!
