Another Gravel Q!

you would not be the first to do that! give it a good clean, boil it if you can, rinse and off you go.
 
Just make sure it's the smooth stuff, so as not to cause injury and infection, particularly if you have bottom feeders.
 
also you may want to fashion a sifter of some sort. Some of the gravel in those bags is pretty big. That was my only complaint with the pea gravel I used. But if you fashioned a sifter with holes the size of the largest gravel size you wanted then you could sift out the larger stuff pretty easily.
 
Well B&Q had no fine gravel, petsmart wanted £9.99 for a 10kg bag, so shopped about and it payed off... £4.99 for a 12.5kg bag off natural pea gravel, so 4 bags (50kg) was less than £20 which i think is a good price, all it needs is a rince!

While i was at petsmart i bought 3 Juwel STR600 backgrounds @ £12.99 each but th girl only charged me for 2 :good:
