Hi all.(first post!...be gentle :D )
i still can`t get a really clear tank.
i have been doing 20% water changes twice a week that seems to help.
i have tried leaving the lights off.
im carefull to not over feed.
The tank has been up and running for a couple of months now,and is fully cycled
nitrate, nitrite, ammonia levels are as they should be.
im not convinced my internal juwel filter is up to the job.
the tank is well stocked(neons, platys being moved as soon as second tank is cycled)with a few plants.
would i benifit from adding an external filter?has anybody done this?
would i have to hack holes in the hood to get the pipes in and out?
thanks.

You can never have too much filtration imho. I am assuming the tank you have is all enclosed which would make an external filter hard.....perhaps you could add another internal filter....i hear fluval intenals are good.

Perhaps when you move fish to your other tank the water will clear.....

Welcome to TFF :D
