Another Day Spent Between Fishforums.net And My Tank

I think I'm beyond fish obsessed now......all I do on my days off is sit on here, and watch my tank and the random forum posts.....when not here I think about new tanks and new fish.

They should make a medical name for the condition of not being able to think of anything other than fish

Yeah my fiance informed me i have said 30 differant fish names in the last 2 days
had my arm in the tank sorting it 2 times,
then mentioned new names for all my fish including the identicle guppy fry!!!

Yeah I don't think there has been a day since I decided to get a tank, and more importantly after I got my book to help me that I haven't mentioned something about fish.
I feel a little bad when he gets in from work and I just talk fish lol.....poor sods

He's out at band practice though so now I have all night to obsess again

yup they are....currently I have 4 zebra danios, 5 neons, 1 male betta and a pitbull pleco...

considering losing the tetra at the moment, and aiming to get another pitbull pleco when I can

I'm constantly telling my parents about fish and what ones I could have if I had a bigger tank (mainly Mbuna.)

I think my bf would really think I loved fish more than him if I told him things like that.....but I do think a lot of the time about getting loats of mini tanks and getting loads of bettas......maybe even get into breeding in the future

Sounds like your coming down with MTS soon.....(multiple tank syndrome). But how can you help it, when it's such a relaxing hobby!!

Only way to cure MTS is to get a tank over 100 Gallons.

Even got tempted today work have 22litres hex's in their sale for 29.99 which I thought sounded pretty reasonable.....not sure if it has a pump, but I already have a spare 50W heater from my current tank....mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Are they a pain to clean out?
I'm not a fan of the shape I just thought it sounded like a decent deal for a change for where I work....I did like biorbs til I found out they are plastic.....poop!

to be honest if I get anymore I will probably get a clearseal tank and buy bits seperately

Just awkward and poor in general, all serious fish keepers tend to dodge them.

Clearseal is a good way to go more flexibility as far as hardware goes aswell.

Yeah I already learnt within 2 months juwel skank out on proper wattage heaters for their tanks, I had to go buy another one.
So next time I'd rather have the control!
