hi - i am new to the hobby and am cycling my tank. i'm on the second week now.
i've been researching and looking at lfs and i am wondering about the compatibility of cherry barbs and golden barbs. i want a group of 6 cherry's and have started noticing that the goldens would look nice as a contrast colour. does anyone know if these two strains will get along with each other?
both are described as peaceful and active.
the goldens are about 1 inch larger (3" to the cherry's 2").
and i've been reading that goldens are bottom to mid-dwelling and cherry's are mid to top dwelling.
basically, i'm wondering if i'm looking for trouble by getting 4 cherries and 2 goldens at the same time.
