I recently bought a 55 us gallon tank and I'm looking to keep apistos in it. I was just curious how many different kinds I could safely put in it. Preferably in pairs or tios. Also will they spawn in a set up like this or do I need to have a seperate breeding tank?

Thanks

What are the dimensions LxWxH in cm

IMO you are looking at 2-3 different pairs, as long as you provide plenty of caves.

Just a question your sig says you have two pairs in a 20 gallon, If I divide my tank in half could I have more than 2-3 pairs?

You could try it yes. Although what works for me may not work for you. I suppose it depends on the fish's temperament.

There was another post on here about someone one putting two pairs or at least a trio in a 10gallon. Would it be better if I just got a 10g for each species? If I can have 3-4fish per 10 gallon that would save the space of the 55. 5 10g would house 15-20 fish while the 55g only 6-8.
