angles paired up???

i have two angels (dont know which is female and wich is male).


were ever one goes the other goes. does this mean dat they have paired up? and can some1 show me a good site about how to breed them and how to prepare them before they breed??

i would say they are a breeding pair.
to look after them put them into a seperate tank from other fish with no gravel and a plant pot the eggs will be laid on the plant pot and after they have laid take out the breeding pair and get a bottle of liquifry.
For a breeding pair of angels you could get around £90 for them.
but dont sell them too heart breaking!

yes it is.
A female can change its sex from female to male my platys did it once.

but they dont breed they lay eggs and you may not find them either because:
They are hidden behind a filter plant ect ect.
or the eggs are bieng eaten before they hatch by other fish

No, angels cannot change sexes.

Only certain livebearers such as platies and swordtails can change gender.

Angels don't change sex.

You might want to ask your dad if he meant the saltwater angelfish or the freshwater angels.

Species of saltwater angelfish can change sex. As far as I know, freshwater angels do not.

Hmmmm Ive bred angels for nearly 10 years, never had any change sex on me. A good site (seeing as though Ive done away with mine) is www.angelsplus.com. Its extremly informative.
