Angler Fish

It would be awesome to get some info on these awesome fish. You guys might know this fish from Finding Nemo, the fish with the little light on it, and HUGE teeth.

If anyone has any info in these fish, it would be nice to hear it, as these fish are FASCINATING.

All I know about these fish, is they blend in with the ocean floor and lure fish in with it's attractive glowing antenae, or something simaler to one. Then it chomps the fish before they know what happined. A fish that fishes!

Sadly all the pictures you have provided are deep water anglers and cannot be kept in home tanks due ot water pressure.

Its possible to have frogfish that act like anglers though.

If it were possible to keep these in a home aquarium you can trust me i would already have one

Frogfish aren't quite as cool, but still very fun to keep.

I have heard of some breed of angler fish you can buy for a home aquarium..I swear I saw one at my LFS once. But after researching online I have come to 2 conclusions

1: They are impossible to find
2: they are not recomended as pets.
