angle problem maybe ??????

I succumbed and bought four small angels and do they eat!!!! They only want the biggest flakes and wont touch it if its been on the floor first. I was worried cause i have been told they can be aggressive but they have been everything i wanted of them so far... graceful and pretty I was wondering though if they were ok cause a couple of them have red under their gills that wasnt there when i saw them at the shop, i was wondering if they were damaged when the guy was taking them out of the tank

You could be correct in you suspicions. I would add some melafix and keep
an eye on the angels
