Hi everyone,
Is there anything specific I should know about angels? Ive always had livebearers and neons (not sure what what they fall under) but would like to know more about angels  Like what food they eat, who they get along with, how big they grow etc...
Thanks :*

angels are kinda sencitive to their water make sure it is warm enough and has salt in it not marine salt aquarium salt. they go good in pairs so make sure u just dont get one it will be loanly. they eat prettymuch the same stuff as livebearers but i would feed them some glass worms every once in a while.(glass worms are white misquetio larva)

 I've never heard of angels needing salt :dunno:
mine don't have salt in there tank and they are doing just fine.
you need a tank at least 18" high to accomidate their dorsal and ventral fins
their natural food in the wild includes neon tetras; although some people have
kept neons in the same tank with no problems (I do).

this is proberbly the best angel site out there

Angels will do fine with salt. Don't need salt though. Most cichlids are alright with salt.

Salt in freshwater has its believers and the anti salt movement. You can try salt with angels just follow directions, maybe even using a little less then recommended. Some fish are not salt tolerant so be careful with what types you would also put in tank.
