hi there, i was not sure where to put this, so i chose the safe option :D , ok the question: will a couple of Angel fish be ok with a Gold Gourami? The Gold is quite large, about 3-4 inches, it is a bit aggressive... but not too bad... it only seems to act aggressivly towards the Dwarf Gourami, whom i had to move... So will the Gold get terratorial with the Angels? or will they bo ok together? mabye just one Angel would be better? I know normal that Angels need space, but at my LFS there are 3 Angels together in a rather small tank, not tiny but they seem to swim together, all 3 of them happily??? is this just because they are together and are simply making the best of things, and as soon as they have more space they will go mad and terratorial? If it is the fact that the Angels are happy together, then should i split them up? i'm not sure my Rio 180 is big enough for THREE Angels? infact im almost sure!! mabye two...? thanks very much in advance...

If the gold was acting aggressively towards the dwarf, good chance it will act aggressively towards the angels. That tank is big enough for 3 angels, even if the gourami was tolerant of them there is a 75% chance you would end up with a pair. Some pairs are a little territorial, others want the whole tank to themselves, and will tear up most any other fish in the tank.

I would play it safe, either stick with the gourami, or find a new home for it and get the 3 angels. If you do end up with a pair you could trade the odd fish at the lfs & stock the tank around the pair.
