I bought some angels on Thursday, 2 days ago. They will not eat. I've tried flakes, pellets, tub worms and frozen krill. My temp is solid and the tank is clean. Is this normal for Angels to not eat the first few days? I've seen it before with oscars and wild caught fish, but didn't think Angels were that way in the past when I've had them. Any ideas?

From what i hear, angels take some time to suit into their tank, so they may not be comfortable eating in front of you so soon. They prolly come back later when your gone.

i just got my angels a few night ago and they have not eaten yet, they are really stressed. I left the light out until today and only put it on a couple of times, to feed them this morning, did not eat, and later on in the day. It takes time with angels, they are very sensitive fish, especially when you first get them. So keep trying to feed them, they will get hungry enough to eat.

What's the water temperature? Angels like it a little warmer. Read up on discus, treat them like discus in all respects except feeding.

The temp is between 78 and 80F. Still not eating today, I will be more patient.

They're in a 55 gallon tank with just a few guppies and a couple of small plecos. Also some freshwater claims and large snails. I only bought 4 of them. The tank has been established for a long time.
