ANGELS NEED HELP

Can a Penguin 170 over power an Angelfish? I just put mine in, and they are staying failry close to the filter intake, and will occasionally drift right into it, although it seems like they are in control because they will also sometimes swim around in the tall plants. Are they strong swimmers? Or will this be a problem?

try turning the filter off to see if they act any different
some fish like to stay neat intakes and such for some odd reason, others will stay beghind plants where there is less current

My angels always hang aroun dthe intake and the outake but that depends on their mood . I reckon they are all having fun because I have a very powerful filter i use for my aquarium where I keep my main angels
