Angels In A 90 Litre

I wouldn't personally.
I don't believe there is enough room in there. Added to the fact that if you had two, then one would be more dominant than the other, which would harass the less one. In a 90litre tank there isn't a lot of space to retreat back too.

First off, if the tank is not at least 16" deep you don't have room for angels. You could fit a pair of standard fin angels in a 16" deep tank that size, nothing more. 18" is preferred for veils.

A pair isn't any two angels put in a tank, they have to have paired off.

I got two in a 25 gallon don't believe there paired off and they have no problems with each other.

I've got 2 in a temporary 30 gal.... some bickering, but nothing major. so agreed to that extent.

on another note. i would rather be keeping these 2 angels in a larger tank (considering they have tank mates).

Sometimes you get lucky, other times you don't. Generally two females will get along better than two males, pairs formed naturally get along better than forced pairs. Generally.

I've had pairs that had to be divided in a 29, they get along fine at first, then decide they want to kill each other. If tubes are coming down they are compatible, when they are done spawning they hate each other.

I've had pairs that seemingly get along fine for quite a while, then one day one of them gets aggressive. Torn up fish goes into quar, so much for that pair.

I've had a few situations where pairs really aren't that aggressive to tankmates, being able to keep multiple pairs with unpaired fish stocked at 5 gallons per fish.

It depends on the individual temperament of the fish, which does vary widely. Safest bet is a naturally formed pair, with at least 10 gallons per fish.

I have 5 juvenile platinum angels growing in a Juwel Rio 125 whilst I'm waiting for my 300 litre tank to arrive and mature. Their body size varies from 2.5-3 inches and they are starting to sort their pecking order now. Generally they get on fine but at times there is some bickering already. Time will show how they get along... At most I will leave a formed pair in this tank if they are showing willingness to spawn but I would say that my tank would be absolute minimum for angels. I have a lot of plants for hiding places so they can escape if/when required.
