Thinking of putting a pair of Angels in my 37G tank.

I'm thinking a pair of angels
little shoal of maybe 4-5 cories

Though it'll probably seem a little empty with just them not sure if I really should put anything more in there.

Fortunately the Biological filter will be 100% developed prior to adding fish(Current home to my oscar who's moving to his own 125Gallon)

Any other suggestions as good mid/top level swimming mates to Angels?

You have a good size tank for angels, how high is the tank? if its more than 2ft high corys wouldn't be very good for the tank as due to them having to breath air every now and then they can somtimes find it difficult to swim all the way to the top of the tank every time and tire out, but thats just what i have heard.

That sounds like an awesome set up! The angels will look lost for a lil bit until they grow. You could go with 3 angels, i dont think that'd be pushing it at all.

if i were you, i would keep 3 angels as the center fish, then maybe a school of 1 inch fish like neon tetras or something small.

Keep it a little intresting.

Maybe even get 2 oto for algue

Well when I rehomed my oscar I drained the tank and refilled with fresh water as well as changed filter cartridges but didn't touch the bio wheel or anything like that.

Stocked the tank pretty well but not overstocked or even full.

Guess I had too much bacteria die off. The bacteria in the filter formerly was handling a 9inch oscar so I figured it was very stout.

Unfortunately the past 3 days have shown me results of .25~.50 Ammonia and .25 Nitrite.

Good to know that I'm not facing a full cycle on that tank but I wasn't expecting any cycle seeing as how the fish in there are nowhere near the bioload imposed by the oscar.

3 angels + neon tetras, will leave you with 3 fat angels.

Neons are one of their natural foods
