I am sorry, but IMO both of you are wrong.
2 will have no problems fitting into a 29 gallon. You can easily go by one Angel per 10 gallons of water, this rule can be pushed. Although 6 Angels my be fine for a bit, by the time they hit mature size, it would definitely be pushing it, I am talking with or without a pair. I do agree with Kribensis12 about the pairing off. Either the pair of the fish other fish would have to be removed.

How am i wrong? Right now, if all 6 angels were the same sex, i dont belive i would be seeing any fighting over territory.
So, i am wrong in assuming that 6 females would be fine? I know a lady who has siz females in a 30. She is a teacher at our school.

I really like the angelfish. Could I safely put 6 in a 29, maybe turn into a species tank?
If say 2 of them spawned would I have to worry about the other 4?

Yes as there isn't enough room for them to reach their full size. And just because the teacher has 6 in a 30 doesn't make it right. You have to look at the health and well being of the fish at the full grown size, not as young fish that will grow to 5 to 6 inches full grown. 6 in a 29 to 30 gal tank will cause stunting, which in turn will shorten the life span of the angels.
