Angels And Guppy Fry

i have an angel with alot of neons (cardinal ) in my tank

my angel is barely 3 inches in hight ...( with fins) without fins his gody is about one inch

i have guppy fry which i really want to add in my tank.... i know they get along with my cardies but will the angel try to eat them ?
the fry are about 3 months old but are still small they are alittle more than half an inch long

my angel grew up with small tetras and never nibbles at my cardinals


can i add my fry?

Even when they are yong angels will be on the lookout for a easy meal.

If you really want to put the babys in just put in a few and see if the angel notices them, if he doesnt you can put the rest in but dont be suprised if they start to go the way of the dodo.

hi ive had the same situation as yourself,my angel being the same size also living fine with neons,i had platy fry 4 weeks old in a breeder net,the day i thought they were big enough not to be eaten in they went,this drove my angel mad for an easy meal she got one in her mouth anyway i did not know how wide she was able to open it, ,sadly i let her go to a new home as i heard when they grow full size neons make for a good snack. .
