Are my angelfish going to wipe out amano shrimp? Or can they live happily ever after together?

hahahaha. i would say no. but then again it would depend on the size of your angels and the shrimp. adult angels would easily feast on them.

I'm keeping Apistos with various types of shrimp (see sig) but I'm sure the male will start picking them off. I've seen him stalking a cherry once or twice but they always manage to jump out of the way but it's only a matter of time. Shame really.. The larger Amanos are fine but I've got a few baby shrimp in the tank at the moment (they look like Amano but can't be so can only presume they're tiger or cherry etc., they just haven't coloured up yet) and at the moment they're near the surface on the leaves of the plants out of the way of the bottom dwelling apistos etc. However, I would imagine that adult angels would make a feast out of your shrimp eventually.

I have angels and amano's together and they are fine

Well, unfortunately the shrimp started doing kamakaze missions out the side of the tank in response to the angels...

Now, of course, I have to decide whether to let them work out their differences or get rid of one or the other...
