I was wondering if a female can 'mate' with 2 males. This seems to me the case in my 50g. One female-tell by the thick tube- and 2 males are looking after a spray of eggs. All three are fan the eggs and chase away the other angels and fish. Sometimes the males threaten each other but they both seem to say 'hey, these eggs are just as much mine as they are yours'
Can this happen?

Never heard of it, but then again I've heard of stranger things happening.

I've heard of it happening. It's not real common, but it does happen.

Fish do weird things. In my 55 gal.I have two females and this "Don Juan " male. The veil female happens to be the official girlfriend, but everytime this other female needs this male,he forgets about his girlfriend and fertilizes the others eggs.
Now,the male after a few hours go back to the veil female, leaving his partime lover, but not without eating her eggs first. :p

HAha! that's pritty funny
I did not remove the eggs and it looks as though the pictus cat got to them last night :-(
