Angelfish?

My plans for this tank went to the toilet, so I'm thinking about getting angels. My 44USG tank is almost cubic. Pentagonal in shape, meant for a corner, so it's basically as tall as it is wide, but it has one corner cut off.

How many angelfish would I be able to get in there?

There's a couple of plecos in there already.

I wouldn't add anymore then 5. What are the dimensions? The tank should be at least 18 inches in depth.

You could start with 6, you will more than likely end up returning some if you get a pair. Being more square than rectangle you don't have a lot of room for a territorial pair with unpaired fish.

The odd/even number thing is nonsense.
