Hi there
We had two angelfish but unfortunately one of them had "her" back tail bitten off to the stump (we presume by the other angelfish because "he" gets into a bit of a frenzy at feeding time and perhaps mistook her tail as a bit of dinner) ..... because the other angelfish was struggling to swim without her back tail we put her out of her misery .... however since her untimely departure the other angelfish seems to be really lonely .. he just mooches around the back of the tank and does nothing else - he used to be the livliest of the bunch, 'greeting' us when we appeared at the tank for feeding time etc but now like I say he has just become a bit of a recluse ....
.... does this mean he needs another partner? are angelfish shoaling/paired fish? should we go and purchase another angelfish?
Thanks for your help in advance.
