ive been reading on here that you cant put angel fish with neon tetras as they will eat them, but looking in my local pet store which is a big fish place, they have a few tanks with very big angel fish in and neons in and there not being eatan.

is this true they will eat them

they might or they might not. the really large ones will but i think if you can get small ones(like quarter sized) and keep neon with them they probly wont eat them when they get bigger. but it all really depends on the fish, others have said this because in the wild this is there natural food source.

that ain't correct. Angle can be house with angle as long as they were both put inside the tank at the same time or the the neon is inside first. I like to start with angle that is small and keep them alone with other fish. This way he will know that the neon he saw isn't food. But how ever in some other case when u introduce new neon to the tank while ur angle has been raise to 6-7inch I wouldn't be supprise if you finding alot of those new neon missing as the angle might just realize that they were food instead of a tank meet.

thats pretty much what i said....but it all depends on the fish, it may just suddenly eat all the neons even if it was raised with them for years
