I'm planning to get some angelfish for my newly set up 30 gallon tank. right now, it has a powder blue gourami and three white skirt tetras. Do you think it's possible for them to get along? I have a very small dwarf puffer (less than an inch) as well but in a different tank. Is the puffer going to nip the angelfish or the other fish??
How many angelfish can i get??

I used Stress Coat, Prime, Cycle bacteria, aquirium salt and PH 7.0 buffer.
I live in San Diego, the water a bit hard.

I'm new to this so, please tell me everything about angelfish.

Thank you very much. i appreciate your help

Well okay first off Angels natural habitat is in soft, acidic water but because they are in the fish keeping market so heavily they are abel to tolorate various types of water. I wouldn't recommend puffers as those would nip the angel, tetras and possible the Gourami. I'm not quite sure but I think it would be okay without the puffers. I've heard of people keeping Gourami's in with Angels so it should be okay.

and secondly an angel can and will eat any fish that will fit in its mouth...
the white skirt isnt so tiny so with a young small angel you may be ok, but dont be surprised to see as they grow so does their appetite.
many keepers report angles kept with small fish from young dont realise they are food, but remember in the wild the neon tetra makes up part of an angels natural diet...
