Angelfish Widow - Pair Off Again?

I until recently had a pair of breeding angels in a tank, but sadly the male of the pair died due to a bacterial infection. She has survied the treatment and now look well. expect now she is on her own. The did sucessful raise fry between them, and they are thriving in my big community tank.

Now that her partner has gone, will she ever pair off again if i was to introduce a new male or males to the tank. I would really like to get another pair going. but i would like to keep her as she is a really nice fish.

Any advice would be greatly appriciated

Yes you can put her with a male & with enough time they should pair off, it is not uncommon to create 'planned' pairings of Angelfish & some breeders swop males/females about to breed the desired offspring.

thanks for the advice. She isn't that old, so i guess i will have to go out an find her a new good looking man!!!!!
