hey guys, i havent been on here in a while but i could really use some advice. Back in april i was given some young angels for my community tank as a gift, which i accepted (i know naughty of me but its all been fine) and as they are unhappy alone i had 3, going on the thought track of "well they wont be this small forever but by then ill have a bigger tank just for them". Well anyway i notided that one of the angels was being bullied no end but couldnt quite work out why till this morning when i looked in the tank to watch two of the angels chasing everything away from the front corner where i found a load of eggs on the bogwood. Naturally im pleased they are happy enough in the tank to spawn however now i need some questions answering.

1) how can i tell if the eggs are fertile?
2) Should the other angel be removed from the tank?
3) should the community fish be removed from the tank?
4) are they likely to spawn again?
5) Should i remove the piece of bogwood with the eggs to a seperate tank for hatching or should i wait till fry hatch to move them then?

In advanced thanks for help,
Jorel

The third angel is being bullied to pieces, im going to remove it to another tank. Is this the right thing to do?

eggs are fertile if they are tan in color
remove the other angel from the tank
if you want to keep the fry then you will want to remove the community fish
they will spawn again
you dont have to remove the eggs if you dont want to, the parents will likely eat the eggs the first 2-3 times

Thankyou, i changed my mind on which fish to move and moved the pair out instead so they could raise the eggs in peace. they ate all the eggs yesterday so none left now but when there are i decided it would be better for them to have a setup already done away from others, which meant the third angel was able to stay with the community. thanks for both your replies :)
