Okay- I know from the Newbie section that these sort of problems were inevitable since my tank is still cycling but I still want to make every effort possiable to help this guy please

Request Help Angel fish with red in eye

Tank size: 100 Gallon
pH: 8
ammonia: about .25 maybe .5 (they are awfully close in color)
nitrite: .25
nitrate: between 5-10
kH: dont know what these are
gH:
tank temp: 78-80

Fish Symptoms (include full description including lesion, color, location, fish behavior): Husband just got fish yesterday morning (maybe day before) But tonight i noticed a red "spot" in part of the section around the iris of his eye- I don't know much about him to say if his behavior has changed

Volume and Frequency of water changes: changed 25 gallons this morning

Chemical Additives or Media in your tank: Aquasafe in 20 gallons and Prime in 5- last night i put 8 ammonia tablets (by jungle) in tank and added Black Diamond ammonia/carbon granules to filter (that i took out tonight after responses to my water chemistry on other thread) Aquarium Salt (20 tsp) was added to original water but not after this change

Tank inhabitants:
2 giant danios, 3 small bala sharks, 1 rainbow, 4 mickey plateys, 3 Mollies, 2 Angelfish, 3 dwarf gnornamis, 6 live plants

Recent additions to your tank (living or decoration): pretty much everything since i just got the tank (used) about a week or 2 ago

Exposure to chemicals: I dont think so- I did use a little but of CLR to clean the outside of the filter (it was caked with lime) but i rinsed it REALLLLLY well and it was a VERY small amount. and that was the night I bought the tank- this is a picture of fish and eye (sorry i've been trying to upload it differently but to no avail)

A reddish ring, or partial ring, often seen towards the back or top back is normal. This is considered by some to be a sign of a larger percentage of wild blood in it's genetic background, though I have seen some wild caught angels without it.

Thank you- this is very good to hear
