I have 5 angelfish in a 20 gallon and they are about the size of a toonie. they water is great. stats etc.
here is the thing. two of the angelfish do not fight with each other, but they will ram the other angelfish.. not hard, but will chase for a few seconds. then there are two angelfish that will chase everyone.. then again not for long. then there is my last angelfish that is chased, but wont chase back. i know that i will have to move the angelfish to a bigger tank, i will later on in time.

i looked online for pairing actions.. but have no idea.. i'm a noob when it comes to breeding fish.. and do not plan to have anymore angelfish, but do want them to be happy and can be in their "pair" in their own tank and do what they do.

what should i do? advise..?

thanks

A 20g is to small for 1 angelfish let alone 5. What size in inches or cm are they as i dont know what a toonie is. They could just be attcking from stress. What else is in the tank with them?

i would say that the largest one i have is around 2-3 inches.. just the body not the fins included.. today i have them all in my 40 gallon tank. i also believe that two of them are pairing up.. but its hard to tell... i looked online to see if they actions showed the same.. and still have no clue.
