Hi everyone!
I’m looking for some help with my Angelfish! Last night I noticed it had a swollen belly and it’s tube was out so I thought it was going to lay eggs like my confirmed female does every 2 weeks but this one isn’t laying eggs. There is some white stuff coming out of the tube that looks like white flakes? I’ve looked on google and haven’t found anything!! I’m really worried because it’s also hanging out at the top of the tank with the top of its head coming out of the water! It’s in a 20 gal tank alone with weekly water changes and I’m not sure of the different levels of nitrates and such. My husband takes care of that.
To sum it up;
The angelfish has white flake like things coming out of its tube with an extremely swollen belly. It’s not laying eggs and is hanging out at the top of the tank.
Any input at all would be extremely appreciated! I’m worried sick! Thank you!
