One of my Angelfish will swim right up to the other one and grab the upper part of its mouth. They will drag each other around the tank. Has anyone experienced this type of behavior?

Aggression or forming a pair. That is what they are doinggggggg..

I think it might be a mating ritual. Perhaps you've got a pair now? I'd say just watch, make sure none are seriously injured from it.

Cheesy is right. Either it is two males/females fighting for territory, or it is a possible pair beginning the mating ritual. The only way to tell is if they continue this for a day or two then it is aggression and they will need to be sperated or put into a bigger tank. If they arnt separated then one or both can be seriously injured and die from an infection/injury.

Yep agree with what ox5477, Cheesy and Belle says.. My mating angels liplock, the male puts pressure on the female to spawn..My angels get a little aggresive with each other near spawning time, never done any damage to each other though.. The male is a big bully :grr: .. They are in love with each other the now though as they have a batch of eggs on the filter.. Hope your angels settle down.. :good: x
