I heard on here that you could feed angelfish guppy or platy fry once the angels are big enough but could maybe once a month feed the angels small neon tetras once the angels get big enough? If not what other foods could I offer my angels that my other fish can eat?

I personally feed my angels frozen Blood worms, daphnia, and every 3 feedings they get some tropical flakes.
If you are planning on using live foods then I strongly recommend you breed them at home. Buying feeder fish from your LFS is rather risky. There is a much greater chance that you will introduce a parasite into the angels that way. Home bred feeder guppies are a much safer source of live foods.
With all that said though, feeder fish is completely unessary for angels. The foods I mentioned above will give them a well rounded diet without adding feeders. There are only a hand full of fish in the aquarium trade today that absolutly require live fish and angels are not one of them.

Well I've only been feeding them tropical flakes, do they like freeze dried blood worms or the live and frozen kind? Would it be ok to feed them flakes then maybe once or twice a week feed them live or frozen blood worms then monthly feed them guppy or platy fry?

My Angel eats freeze dried bloodworms, never tried the frozen kind yet. I feed him flakes every once and a while, brine shrimp, and maybe a vegetable a few times a week. I'm thinking about trying the platy/guppy fry too, i read that its a very good meal for them, so when mine gets bigger, im going to try that.

Anyway, your diet for them is good, maybe add a vegetable for digestion?

Don't go too heavy with the bloodworms, they lead to constipation & bloat. A good flake, some brine shrimp a few times a week, and an occasional vegetable are all that is needed.

Angels don't need feeders, but they are effective at keeping an outbreak of livebearers from occuring. You could put a trio of most any livebearer in with an angel and never have to worry about being overrun with fry. That is probably how often an angel would get live food in the wild.

Very true, but I wouldnt recommend guppies, mine dont seem to have a problem killing and eating adults. However, I'm sure mollies/platies/swordtails, would work just fine.

I wasn't planning on putting livebearers in the tank with the angels because I don't want to add anymore fish to that tank but was planning on having a trio of guppies and a trio of platys in my long 20g then once females start to become pregant I might keep some of there first birth but after that I'm going to feed the rest to my angels and try to sell a few to a lps.
