Angelfish Fins Missing

OK, I bought some Angelfish today, and the fins are missing have a look at the picture below, (its obvious what I am talking about) will they grow back if so how long? and will this effect him/her in anyway

Did you buy him like that or has it just happend when added to you current tank?

Buy him like that, he/she is eating, and the others are fine and eating and all fully together, he hides behind the filter sometimes but he eats soon as foods in and he does swim around a bit, just a bit shy because he is new, any ideas if they will grow back?

Hmmmm was he in a tank with other fish when you bought him. It could be he was being bullied. Or it could be a defect through breeding possibly. I would consider asking for a refund unless you really want to keep him. Hiding behind the filter is normal. Mine did that when first bought. I have not heard of them growing back and would doubt if they did but I could be wrong.

Oh thats cool, I'll be keeping him thats like saying you got a baby with one leg missing better shove it back up there

If they be fighting I will split them up, thanks
