I can't believe it, 2 of my Angelfish have just spawned some eggs on a leaf in my tank, I've got no idea what to do next, It's there first time and i desperately want to try and get a good survival rate from this lot, Before they spawned there eggs they were normally the ones to be fighting/bickering in the tank so they were the last 2 fish i thought would pair off, 1 is a sunset angel and the other is a stripey angel, My tank has some mollies and pictus catfish in there at the moment, I dont have any other tank so no possible chance of me moving any, I do have breeder boxes, Is there anyway of me protecting/raising these myself? I've got no idea on what to do i've only ever dealt with live bearers.

Could anyone give me any help or advice please?

Much appreciated
Shaun

I wouldn't try raising angels if you don't have a spare tank, tbh. Breeder boxes are all well and good for fry and eggs, but you do need space to grow on the youngsters.

Yes, I would. I know it sounds horrible, but there's no point hatching fry if you don't have the space to grow them on properly.

You can't, that is impossible because if nature was allowed to take her course these creatures would not be in tanks with other fish from other countries in the first place.
What you can do however is just leave things and hope for the best. There needs to be lots of planning and effort put into breeding egg-layers (who's fry are generally more sensitive), having a couple of breeding boxes will not cut it unfortunately.
