Angelfish Compatible With...?

I have a 55gal I was thinking about using for angels and I wanted to know whether I could house any other fish with them? I know they nip fins, so no long finned fish. could they be housed with other cichlids? Like convicts? Plecos?

Angels can be housed with other relatively peaceful cichlids, such as rams, apistos, keyholes, Rainbow cichlids as well as a few larger types such as Blue acaras, Festivum etc.. which would require a slightly bigger tank.

They can also be housed with any good sized tetras (no neons) and most catfish although i would avoid very quick moving species such as pictus
