Hey all,

I have moved my angel pair into the 70 litre 2 days ago and since the female hasnt been herself,
she has not got much vigor for eating as she used to have in the 96 litre, the male is fine, he eats lots of flake, and steals the females when i try to put flake where she is in the tank,

she also seem to sometimes swin on her side on the bottom of the tank, both male and female are perfectly healthy looking , also the female seems to be more scared than the male, also the female swims on the back of the tank sort of like she is scared and trying to get away , she go'es back and forth sometimes.

I think I also might have seen her flicking a bit when i first put them in the tank, but I havent seen it since,

she looks fine on the outside, no problems, looks good and healthy, doesnt have white spot, nuthing on at all,

I done the transfer the right, right temp, fresh water change as well before they went in , but its strange that its only her that is acting strange,

so anyone with lots of experience in angels, please could you help me out, as to whats wrong,

Thanks

Saboy

Some angels do just fine when switched, some are more skittish & aprehensive. Add some taller plants, it gives them a place to hide, & they feel more secure. Cover the sides of the tank, as well as the back. Avoid too much commotion & movement in the room. Keep the tank light off if no live plants are involved, just light it with room light. As always, keep up on water changes, a little extra won't hurt.

Thanks for your reply tolak , the tank is bare, i have put castle with fake plants that I glued on it in the tank and should be plenty space to hide,

Well, my angels must be fine now, they are spawning as i type, but I have nt been able to find slate, and they have spawned on the heater, but luckily its on the top of the heater , it doesnt get hot there, Sadly some of the eggs are falling off, but most are stuck on , I am gonna leave this batch with them to see what they do, the eggs that are falling off they are picking them up with the mouths, and im not sure if they eating them but i think they are, but they not eating the ones that are stuck on the heater,

I was right there in front of the tank with my big head and they where still spawning the male came to the front of the tank to tell me to back off lol, but goes back to fertilize, I can also see the eggs poping out, LoL

OH well just have to wait and see now weather they eat em or raise em , this is only there second spawn , so im not getting my hopes up,
