I have a large Veil angel in my 20 gallon, i want to add more activity and color to the tank, what would be suitable for an angel? I have already tried another angel, a much smaller angel which disappeared mysteriously one night without a trace. thanks in advance.

Any livebearers will work well, and you won't have to worry about fry. An orange variety of platy would add some color. Albino bristlenose are a nice light cream/yellow color when mature and would ad some color as well. There are various corys that you could add for some bottom color & activity.

Well I'd say neons but since he's already large that's probably out. There's rummynose tetras, glowlight tetras, zebra danios, any catfish that isn't a suckermouth, and that's all I can think of off the top of my head.

?

I keep plecs in my angel community, always have done. To be honest though, there's not much else you could put in with angels in a 20g. I'd say a handful of larger tetras - or some platies as already mentionned :) Maybe a bristlenose, but if you're after more action in there, cories would be better than a plec.

what about a golden gourami,5 cories and a little shoal of wcmm/danios.

this is what i would have.
