i`m cycling my first tank at the moment and i`m wanting 2 or 3 pairs of diffrent angels. will they all get along? as in 2 ghosts 2 blacks and 2 koi angels???

also what makes a good tank mate for an angel? i`m going to pop amybe 10 corys in there and a plec anything else i can have?

They get along well with livebearers that cant fit in their mouths, so mollies and swordtails and platies, not too small though.

When they are younger they should get along. When they start to pair up it's anyone's guess. It took me nearly a year to get 7 compatable adults in a 65 gallon. Lots of plants & other decos for hiding, and to make seperate areas helps with multiple pairs/individuals in a larger tank. You have to set up dividers using the decos. Even then it takes some switching of fish & pairs.

I have always done well with buying 4 or 5 fish that look good and would look good as pairs and hope that I get one pair, I have 4 angels and one pair right now and so if I were to want another pair I would probably get 1 or 2 more fish, but 1 is fine for me

so its pretty hit and miss wether or not they all get along....

Also what sort of PH do angels like to live in?

alas my Ph is slightly acidit at 6.2 i`m hoping that the major water change and regular water changes after the cycle should possibly cure this

Angelfish come from a acidic water... But they can tolerate all sorts of pHs.... I don't think you should worry about the pH if is is 7.0 or lower.

I have 1 breeding pair of angels and keep them in a pH of around 7-7.2. they are in a community with plecos gouramis cats and 1 or 2 eels. they are all one big happy family

I keep my pH around 7.0 to 7.6, it barely changes from the 7.3 ish mark
