I have an Angelfish in my community tank that is always aggressively eating, and always looking for food
For the past 3 days, he does not seem interested in food. He looks at it but makes a feeble attempt to eat and just swims slowly while the other fish eat.

There are no signs of illness with him

Just wondering what may be wrong with him

Any advise would be helpful

Have you tested your water quality? A presence of Ammonia can some times put the greediest of fish off their food!

Hi Westwood

Here are the latest tests of water
Ammonia and Nitrite 0
Nitrate 10 -20 ppm somewhere in that range water change done yesterday
PH appprox 7.4

Juts not sure what it could be the other Angels are fine
He looks at the food and goes up to it but does not eat it...other than that he looks normal

Strting to worry more, as that is my favourite Angel

This is hard to come up with any ideas for you. I had this happen before with an angel without good results. You could try to soak some food in a slurry of garlic, supposed to enhance the taste. You might want to put him in a hospital tank. Any stringy white poop? If so could indicate internal parasites and you might want to then medicate for that. Make sure your water is pristine so up the water changes.

No white tringy poop...fish looks fine...he is responsive he swims away if you flas a hand near him

I just do not know...he vaguely appears interested in food but does not eat it

Will keep watching him...he otherwise seems fairly normal
