Angel mating behavior

I would like to know how angels pair up -- what kind of behavior they show prior to becoming a pair which will proceed to spawn, and also at what size do angles become sexually mature?

I have 4 angel in my tank. I saw two of them swimming around with each other and then they start "darting" at each other. Sometimes they would kind of nip at at each other too (not in a mean way). I also noticed about a day before they had there eggs they would chase the other fish to the other side of the tank to keep one side to them self.

With my pair of angels one is about 4in and the other is about 2.5in(maybe a bit bigger, but smaller than the other one).

They show the characteristics described by vdan, also they will find a clean flat surface like an amazon swordplant leaf, a piece of slate or the aquarium glass and begin picking at it to clean it off. They will spawn there shortly thereafter.

EDIT: Also it is possible for two females to pair up, so your eggs may not be fertilized. They become sexually mature at about quarter size.

Thanks, I have seen some behavior as mentioned above but not an attempt to spawn yet...
