Rocky my angel is still sick with an internal bacteria. I managed to get hold of some antibiotics (metronidazole) that I soak their food in, today will be their second last dose. I treat every second day with a 20% water change before each new dose. The female betta looks much better, although still not perfect. Khulis still seem healthy. I'm only feeding at treatment time in hope that'll make them a little bit more hungry. Tank is at 25-26deg. Rocky still has the 'rash' along his dorsale crest and mouth, he wasn't improving but he wasn't getting worse. Behaviour still normal. I just got home from Uni and noticed blood spots on his ventrals :-( He seems sluggish, although I'm unsure as to whether he is actually changed in behaviour or I'm making myself believe he has. What do I do? Medication is so hard to get hold of in Australia and I cannot quarantine this fish - he's just too big. I also don't want to continue using medication in the tank, it will only make the other fish unhealthy. Is it time to send him to fishy heaven? I don't want him to suffer because I'm hoping he'll miraculously survive.

It not sounding to good as septicemia hard to cure once it progresses.
Try the medicated food abit longer. If things go downhill fast it might
be kinder to end the fish suffering. Plus it also putting your other fish at risk.

Good Luck.
