Hi all,
My Angel pair spawned for the first time (that I know of) last weekend (the eggs laid never made it due to other fish in the tank).
All's been happy in the tank for months before this, but on Monday my Gold Severum attacked my female Angel (who is also gold) pretty badly and tore all her fins.
I haven't got a hospital tank, so I left her in the main tank but in a breeding net/tank, and have been treating her since with Waterlife's Myxazin.
On Tuesday (24 hrs later) I rehomed the Severum and let the Angel back into the tank - there are no other fish in there that bother/are bothering her at all. I'm still treating with Myxazin (day 4 out of 5 today), and will probably add some salt to the tank later.
Question is - any other suggestions on treatment, i.e. Melafix or other? (she is swimming around as best she can, and has also been eating a little, but is mainly resting in her favourite spot in the tank, whilst being kept company by her partner "Mr Black" Angel.
Haven't got a pic of her at the moment, but she has basically lost most of her top and bottom dorsal fins, and most of her tail fin.
Water stats are fine.
Thanks
Kim
