Hello all,

I've had angelfish for a long time now, recently just found out that I had a pair who just recently gave birth to baby angel fry. I don't know what size tank to keep them in. I now have them in a 5 gallon tank with air filter and temperature gauge. What size do I keep them in so they can survive?
Thank you

What other fish do u keep?

Just angels don't give birth to fry, they lay egg's and guard them for 2 days, then the look after the fry for 3-4 weeks or so.
If that had breed you should of noticed.

My angelfish laid the eggs on the filtration system, i removed it out of the large 175 gallon tank, because I didn't want them eaten. Angelfish very protective of their eggs, so I moved all the small fry to the 5 gallon tank, but I don't know what size to move them too and when? One thing I kept noticing was that the small fry were being moved from one spot to the other spot on the tank, do angelfish do that? How often to change water? My fish guy at a private aquarium said, move them after a few weeks, but I'd like all of them to survive, not just some. He also said, change water every other day. But how do I transport them into another larger tank without losing them. Sorry tons of questions..... I've had small fry before but from bettas, no I don't breed bettas only angelfish. Sorry for so many questions
