angel fish

I got 2 angel fish. one has been just laing still and every once in awhile will move to another location. Is he alright? Will he die?

did you acclimate them to your tank properly. Let them sit in the bag in you r tank for at least 15 mins. then add some of your water to their bag and let them sit for 15 mins again and repeat a couple of times? Angels are great fish but they are fussy about water conditions and drastic changes in water conditions. As long as it is still moving he may be alright. He could be very stressed right now and it may take a couple of days for him to come around. Keep in touch

I put him in yesterday. i did wait 15 minutes. i ddint put water in there but now after a day he is just sitting there looking like he is about to die. I dont know if hes resting or not

It sounds like either ph shock or temperature shock. Is he eating? try a 20% water change and see if that brings him round a bit.

Ph and temperature are normal. I am doing water change tomorrow. I will see. Thx for your advise.

Just looked at him... poor guy is upside down and breathiing or whatever really slowly. I gotta feeling I am going to get another angel tomorrow

Check your water parameters....It sounds like ammonia poisoning....If all parameters are at 0, then check back at your LFS, they normally have a 3 day or 7 day policy when it comes to bad stock....Sorry for your loss though
