Angel Fish

Hi,
I have been reading up on angel fish and am very confused about whether one or any would be compatible with the fish i have and are planning on keeping. I have been considering the Golden Angel fish and a Flame angel.

I already have 2 x clown fish, 1 x firefish and 1 x yellow tailed damsel 1 x fire shrimp and 1 x cleaner shrimp.

I want to get Goby x1, Banggai Cardinal x1, Royal Gramma x1 (maybe - not decided yet.)


Would the Flame angel fish be too aggressive for my tank mates?

Would the Golden Angel fish get along better?

Is there any others that would be better?

Both of those angelfish should be fine with your current fish as well as the ones you plan on keeping. IMO the golden angelfish has a higher chance of nipping at your corals than the flame angel. I have heard that the flame angels are really hit or miss, as some will nip and others completely ignore corals. As for adding both of them, they may fight since they look very similar in shape and color. If you are keeping a lot of different coral species I would look into an angelfish species that is known to leave corals alone such as the coral beauty.

yes they are hardy and well behaved with corals
