Hi,

Is it ok to have angel fish and guppies in the same tank, because i've had mixed opinions.

Thanks

seems alittle small, someone told me my angels were okay for my 25g high but most said that was really pushing it. The minimum size said for an angel is 29 us gallons.

Hi i think angels can grow til approx 6 - 7 inch upwards, i have them with guppies at the min they get along great.....they dont bother each other at all, in fact they are my only fish who seem to have a remote interest in me...which is nice!!! however, they eat neons so not a good move if you fancy some colour. :)

TBH I think your tank is a bit too small for Angel fish, or it will be two small for them once there fully grown. As angel fish are a disc shape they like deep tanks (18"+), heavy planted with Java Fern and vail like plants.

An issue you may have with Angels and Guppies being in the same tank is Angel have been known to nip the fins of other fish. Your Guppies with their large tail fins may get nipped by your Angels.

Hope this helps
