ex...(this is not my tank but almost my plan)
55 gallon
-5 Red Eyed Tetras
-4 Bleeding Heart Tetras
-4 Rummy Nose Tetras
-5 Angels
-5 corys
-1 plec

i've had trouble mixing red eye tetra with angels. just a warning. they might be fine for you though. jus thought i'd mention my experience.

i would also use more rummy nose tetra i found they prefer to be at least with 6. agian it might be different for you.

what sort of plec you going for?

i'd go with the rest though :good:

10 gallon; 2 quarter size koi, in quar for another week or so. They get along fine.

29-1; Breeding pair, 1 gold female, 1 silver male, dollar+ body size. A couple of corys. This is the 2nd female for this male, the original silver female developed a tumor & quit spawning. She got medicated, pulled through fine so far. Introducing the gold female went fine, the male was pretty aggressive when he paired up with the original silver female, beat on a few other silvers in a 65.

29-2; 263 nearly pea size angels, 1 albino cory. They are too young not to get along.

29-3; divided tank, ½ dollar size pair of blacks & male bristlenose on the left, ½ dollar size male black on the right, a few pygmy corys who fit through the divider. The pair on the left generally get along, the male on the right is a wifebeater, the female is in a 55 between spawnings.

29-4; 2 dollar+ size koi, dollar+ size male black, ½ dollar size female marble, 4 albino corys & a female bristlenose. Pairing setup, trying to get a koi pair. Everyone gets along, the stocking will change tomorrow in this tank.

20-1; dime size blacks, silvers, leopard & marbles. Potential future breeders. They all get along so far.

20-2; dollar+ pair of blacks, they get along fine.

55-1; 14 or so assorted angels ½ dollar to dollar +. Potential breeders, a few not quite potential breeders, my Dad’s 3 common plecs. No aggression issues to speak of.

55-2: 16 or so assorted angels, mostly dollar +, half a dozen small bristlenose, somewhere around 10 corys. 3 breeding pairs in this tank, some aggression issues when spawning, nothing serious. Mostly potential breeders.

65; 1 pair dollar + blacks, 1 pair dollar+ zebras, 2 silvers & 1 zebra unpaired, a few panda corys. Some aggression issues while spawning, plenty of hiding spots due to this being the show tank in my living room.

29 gallon with rubber lipped plec, otos, back skirts, 2 angelfish. The angelfish live in a semi plnted tank with alot of wood. They love to hide in long skinny plants. 1 of my black skirts thinks hes a angelfish its really funny!! Im trying to get a pair and im gonna get 2 more angels so i can find a pair

my planned tank is 29 gal which will have in total 3 angles, 1 rubberlip plec, and 5 albino corries. so far i have everything but one angel, if do happen to get a pair i am prepared to rehome one angel if needed. in that case i plan on replacing that angel with 7 cardinals.
