what about a gourami instead?

15 inch 15 cm would probably make the fish swim horizontal

I like gouramis,which type would you recomend?

and I looked up the tiger barbs,apparently you can have 8 in a 20 gallon

and i dont know but i though they needed bigger tanks than 20g but i aint sure

yea I just read from a more reliable source that they need 50 gallons for 10 but what about 8 or 7 barbs? and Im not sure why but I like dwarf gouramis loads .Would I be able to have like 4 of them instead of a pair of gold gourami

i personally would get any tiger barbs what about rosy barbs and yh 4 dwarf youramis should be fine

you would but you would need to drop the numbers of some of the other fish soo..
1 clown plecs
8 corys
2 keyholes
8 rummy nose tetras
3 platys (1m 2f)
2 dwarf gourami
6 torpedos
6 gold barbs
that looks ok

oh and seeing as Im not getting tiger barbs,can I change it back to guppys,they look better

yh the guppys should be fine again and yh they would breed but the fry would be eaten the keyholes gouramis and barbs would eat them all but you could just go for males if you prefer them

I'll go with:

1 clown plec

3 guppys (2 females,1 male)

6 torpedo barbs

6 gold barbs

8 rummy noses

2 dwarf gouramis

2 keyholes

one last question could I replace the rummy noses with something,they aren't very hardy
