Angel Fish - New Home - Height Please?

for my birthday im getting a new tank for my angels. now ive been looking at a lovely two meter length one, but the height is only 40cm. this is too low for a fully grown angel im guessing? (my two are still very young but i want to make sure they have the correct size for when they are bigger)

what kind of height should i be looking at? 60cm? 50cm? more???

do you think its possible to 'add' height to a glass aquarium? this 2 meter one looks gorgeous but its just that bit too short.

remember you're gonna have an inch or so of substrate as well......

yeah i realise that, i was just wondering whether i could modify the tank to make i higher but im guessing it would look ugly(!)

2 be honest if ur buying 2 metre tank thats over 6 foot i think it be waste if it had less than 2 foot height i would want as much viewing space as possible in a tank that size
