Hi all,

My dwarf angel fish (Falco), that I thought was male last night covered the outside of the inlet on my powerhead with a coating of eggs, then basically set up guard around that corner of the tank, attacking anything that came near it!!

Questions:

This is the only Angel fish in the tank so I'm assuming these are infertile and wouldn't hatch?

If so - How long should I leave them before cleaning them off?

Yes and can't advise you there.. removing them will frustrate her, leaving them and having them not hatch will also frustrate her.

she may well eat them, thus removing the problem on both fronts, but if not might be wise to wait until she abandons them before going in to remove them...

My Angels in my community tank lay eggs from time to time.
When they do, they tend to cause a lot of chaos with the other fish, so I get rid of the eggs. I usually do it at night, so as not to stress the fish too much. The next morning I have seen them go to the area where the eggs were, have a bit of a scout around, and then carry on as if there is nothing wrong.

Eggs have gone!!

I guess they got eaten.
